Prohibition of Unauthorized Email Collection

The email addresses posted on this website must not be collected without authorization through email harvesting programs or other technical devices. Please note that any violation of this prohibition may result in criminal penalties under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc.

* Article 50-2 (Prohibition of Unauthorized Collection of Email Addresses)

  • No person shall collect email addresses from an internet website that explicitly refuses such collection, by means of automated programs or other technical devices.
  • No person shall sell or distribute email addresses collected in violation of Paragraph 1.
  • No person shall use email addresses, which are prohibited from collection, sale, or distribution under Paragraphs 1 and 2, for transmitting information, knowing that such addresses were unlawfully obtained.

* Article 74 (Penal Provisions)

Any person falling under one of the following categories shall be subject to a fine not exceeding ten million Korean won (KRW 10,000,000):

  • A person who violates Article 8-4 by displaying, selling, or exhibiting goods for sale without proper indication
  • A person who violates Article 44-7-1-1 by distributing, selling, leasing, or publicly displaying obscene symbols, writings, sounds, images, or videos.
  • A person who violates Article 44-7-1-3 by repeatedly sending symbols, writings, sounds, images, or videos that cause fear or anxiety to another person.
  • A person who violates Article 50-2 by collecting, selling, distributing, or using email addresses for information transmission.
  • A person who violates Article 50-6 by implementing unauthorized technical measures.
  • A person who violates Article 50-8 by transmitting advertising information without consent.
  • A person who violates Article 53-4 by failing to report changes in registration details, or by failing to report the transfer, acquisition, merger, or succession of business.
